Project Short Description
Within the project “Main hall operating on a zero‑cost principle at Villa Wesset” we are opening a main hall with a zero‑waste worldview, where we offer a menu made from local raw materials, with the aim of applying the from‑nose‑to‑tail principle. We conduct workshops where we teach how to use repurposed materials or natural resources to create exciting things. We are also creating a hotel reception confectionery shop, which is made unique by a candy machine based on the principle invented by Rube Goldberg.
Goal and Outcome
By creating a main hall that operates on a zero‑cost principle, we extend the season, honor history by reviving the story of former confectioner Elias Wesset, support the community by using local raw materials, and generate benefits for the company through new services that increase revenue and foster repeat visits.
The support program is financed by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the EU’s response to the COVID‑19 pandemic.
The support amount is €158 720,45.
